Microsoft Edge has arrived to Linux

The Microsoft browser has landed on the penguin OS, the first time Microsoft releases one of its browsers for this platform. These are screenshots of the first developer build launched yesterday, taken from my Manjaro KDE (Edge is available in the AUR).

Imagine if this was the interface of Windows 11. o.O

Lately, I’ve been, I’ve been losing sleep
Dreaming about the things that we could be
But, baby, I’ve been, I’ve been praying hard
Said no more counting dollars
We’ll be counting stars
Yeah, we’ll be counting stars

I see this life like a swinging vine
Swing my heart across the line
In my face is flashing signs
Seek it out and ye shall find

Old but I’m not that old
Young but I’m not that bold
And I don’t think the world is sold
On just doing what we’re told

I feel something so right by doing the wrong thing
And I feel something so wrong by doing the right thing

I couldn’t lie, couldn’t lie, couldn’t lie
Every thing that kills me makes me feel alive

Lately, I’ve been, I’ve been losing sleep
Dreaming about the things that we could be
But, baby, I’ve been, I’ve been praying hard
Said no more counting dollars
We’ll be counting stars

Lately, I’ve been, I’ve been losing sleep
Dreaming about the things that we could be
But, baby, I’ve been, I’ve been praying hard
Said no more counting dollars
We’ll be—we’ll be counting stars

I feel the love
And I feel it burn
Down this river every turn
Hope is our four-letter word
Make that money, watch it burn

Old but I’m not that old
Young but I’m not that bold
And I don’t think the world is sold
On just doing what we’re told

And I feel something so wrong by doing the right thing
I couldn’t lie, couldn’t lie, couldn’t lie
Every thing that drowns me makes me wanna fly

Lately, I’ve been, I’ve been losing sleep
Dreaming about the things that we could be
But, baby, I’ve been, I’ve been praying hard
Said no more counting dollars
We’ll be counting stars

Lately, I’ve been, I’ve been losing sleep
Dreaming about the things that we could be
But, baby, I’ve been, I’ve been praying hard
Said no more counting dollars
We’ll be—we’ll be counting stars

Oh, take that money watch it burn
Sink in the river the lessons I’ve learned
Take that money watch it burn
Sink in the river the lessons I’ve learned
Take that money watch it burn
Sink in the river the lessons I’ve learned
Take that money watch it burn
Sink in the river the lessons I’ve learned

Every thing that kills me makes me feel alive

Lately, I’ve been, I’ve been losing sleep
Dreaming about the things that we could be
But, baby, I’ve been, I’ve been praying hard
Said no more counting dollars
We’ll be counting stars

Lately, I’ve been, I’ve been losing sleep
Dreaming about the things that we could be
But, baby, I’ve been, I’ve been praying hard
Said no more counting dollars
We’ll be—we’ll be counting stars

Take that money watch it burn
Sink in the river the lessons I’ve learned
Take that money watch it burn
Sink in the river the lessons I’ve learned
Take that money watch it burn
Sink in the river the lessons I’ve learned
Take that money watch it burn
Sink in the river the lessons I’ve learned

Thor: Ragnarok trailer, Wonder Woman 1984-style

This is a fan trailer for Thor: Ragnarok using the theme song from the first trailer of Wonder Woman 1984. This trailer is not only far better than the official trailer for the movie, but the music also seems to fit better with the tone of this movie than with WW84 (although I can’t really judge before watching the latter).

The song is “Blue Monday”, originally by New Order, the cover is by Sebastian Böhm.

Below the actual trailers for both movies:

Jeff Bezos is Lex Luthor

I don’t know how we didn’t see this coming. He’s the richest man in the world after all. But no one can deny that he seems to be having so much fun.

The power of soundtracks. What otherwise could have been an uninteresting scene turns into one of the most epic moments in recent cinema. I must have listened to this soundtrack and watched this scene over 100 times since the movie came out. It’s called “No Time For Caution”.

I really love the soundtracks of Book 3 of The Legend of Korra. Unfortunately only the first 2 books have had their OSTs released. This is one of the few tracks available from the 3rd book, the theme of the Red Lotus, the central antagonistic group of that season. Villains always get the best music anywhere and this isn’t the exception.
